The NHPA is uniquely focused on representing the welfare of Nevada Department of Public Safety employees. If you may need representation in your workplace, contact an NHPA director or officer. Nevada Highway Patrol Association members are encouraged to contact an NHPA director or officer if they are a subject or witness in a workplace investigation. Additionally, two 30-minute consultation sessions are offered each year to members for non-work related legal issues. Legal assistance is also offered for will and homestead preparation. The Declaration for Homestead may be located below. Nevada Highway Patrol Association members may contact the Dyer Lawrence Law Firm for further information about non-work related legal services offered.

The NHPA is proud to award annual scholarships to relatives of association members. Criteria includes that the NHPA member's relative is a current high school senior and will be attending college or trade school during the following academic year.

The NHPA is exploring the possibility of sponsoring members for various work-related training courses that require registration fees. Contact an NHPA director or officer if you have any feedback about this benefit during its developmental process.
Your NHPA membership includes a life insurance policy of $20,000 provided through Assurant Employee Benefits/Sun Life Financial.
To join the NHPA, please complete the membership application and life insurance application. If you are currently a member of another association, you will also need to complete the Cancellation of Deduction form.
The SunLife Life Insurance application and the Cancellation of Deduction form may be emailed to the NHPA secretary at firstname.lastname@example.org, mailed to the NHPA, or turned in to any association director of officer.
